Thanks for your kind offer of a Make, we would love one of your handmade goodies to sell in support of Macmillian.
We have two ways of selling your item, we can either auction it off by asking for bids (you can set the starting amount) or you tell us a suggested price and we will sell for that amount.
In order to keep costs down we would ask that you take some photos of your lovely item and send them to us, then when the buyer has paid we will pass on their details to you and would love it if you would be happy to post it for us and cover the postage cost. This means that we can take all payments via JustGiving - which gives our donators peace of mind that all of the money goes direct to Macmillan. Obviously we are chuffed to bits that youve offered us a donation and would like to donate as much as we can from the sale/auction of your item!
Once your item has sold, we will send you a personalised Macmillan thankyou certificate with details about how much your Make raised, in the form of a jpeg so you can show you supported us - we will also shout about your page on our page!
So thanks once again for your offer, please let us know when your ready to donate and send us your photos! Makeformacmillan@yahoo.co.uk. We will then add them to our Coming Soon album, so that bidders can start to WANT your item and then we will let you know bfor we launch for auction. Please tag yourself in the photo as silly facebook doesnt let us tag you.
